T.J.'s sound is not by accident. The SF based singer/songwriter has stated clearly in previous interviews that he's always tried to "write like Ryan Adams and play like Jeff Buckley." After receiving a formal education in music theory and composition, T.J. moved to Nashville where he hustled for two years at bars and cafes as an up and coming singer/songwriter. The music industry took a toll on the young artist, who ultimately decided to move back to his hometown after his publishing deal fell through. After a three year break from any public performing whatsoever, he's decided to get back on stage. With an arsenal of new material and a hell of a lot more life experience under his belt, T.J. will be bringing everything he's got to these intimate SF shows.
