The Schedule of Events is as follows:

Opening Day with Beet the System -

Saturday, September 21st @ 7 pm:

Beet the System is an uplifting and organic-fresh yet well-seasoned ensemble that has grown out of the compost fermented by one of San Francisco’s beloved aughts bands, Chemystry Set. Its genesis was inspired by Vermont artist Ben Levitt, aka breakfast, whose Beet the System art inspired  long-time tubersmiths Baba Ndjhoni (mandolin) and Sven Eberlein’s (guitar) second musical seeding.

Along with new shoots Dan Bonnin (drums), Tim Kelly (bass) and Obadiah Butterworth (guitar), the original plantings were nurtured to maturity into a rockin’ tapestry of cross pollinating original ear worms with a healthy dousing of world beat, groove, grass and punk-ish fertilizer.

Wandering yonder, down the untilled path, Beet the System is digging beneath the surface to unearth the real dirt on boundary-defying, hip shaking and message-driven musical roots. Lettuce turnip the beet at a thriving pasture near you!

Beer Stein Holding Contest (9:00 pm)

PUNKTOBERFEST featuring The Basementals and The Bunkermen

Friday, September 27th @ 7 pm:

The Basementals are a five piece garage rock band celebrating seven years of making original music in southern SF. Straight out of Scotty's basement, The Basementals feature a high energy stage show and lots of songs about drinking, poor decisions, and bars that no longer exist.

San Francisco locals, The Bunkermen, have been playing together in various arrangements for 20+ years.  Vocalist, keyboardist, songwriter Dr. Rick, along with Rich Oliva (bass), David Eakes (drums) and Chris Wing (guitar) have played with the likes of Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull), Bill Spooner (the Tubes), the Clams, the Hodags, Back Burner Blues Band, and others.  The Bunkermen’s punk, funk, rock-groovin’ storytelling style produces some of the most innovative originals around.   And, yes, they practice in an underground bunker hidden in the SF hills.

Beer Stein Holding Contest (9:00 pm)

Duckmandu Does Oktoberfest

Saturday, September 28th @ 7 pm:

Duckmandu’s onslaught of solo accordion and vocals has astounded audiences of all shapes and sizes. Maximum Rock 'n Roll, the premier punk magazine, pronounced him "over the top!" for his note-for-note renditions of the entire first Dead Kennedys album, Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables. His repertoire also includes, but is not limited to, 70's rock, Broadway, klezmer, classical, country, Sousa marches, punk rock, and even a polka or two.

And we’ll have more festive pretzel necklace crafting, and complimentary beer brats (while supplies last). Beer Stein Holding Contest (9:00 pm)
